Received our Pizzaioli oven and cannot comment yet on its performance.
But, I was extremely pleased with the customer service I’ve received so far. Explanation of the oven was exceptional and led to our purchase.
Communication from Patio and Pizza regarding delivery and procedure was perfect.
Oven arrived in good order, delivery was simple. Delivery company allowed plenty of time for inspection.
Simply could not have been easier.
Oven looks better in person than I could have imagined!

Will be installing in a day or so and will update on the oven’s performance. Expecting perfection!

We are so happy with our maximus prime oven. I'm going to put it in a pizza truck and it is even better than I hoped it would be. The only bad thing I could think of would be if you were mistakenly expecting to get Optimus Prime :)

Customer service was superb as was the delivery process. When set up and cured made my first pizza in it...WOW it was fantastic. There will be a learning curve to the Maximus but with 20 people coming over for a make your own pizza next week it'll work out superbly.

Wow... what a great experience was to purchase and work with Patio & Pizza! Morgan, my salesperson was PHENOMENAL from the very first interaction until the final completion of my project. Her attention and superb customer service ethic made a BIG difference when we had a bit of a mishap with the delivery. BUT nothing big. My beloved Kiva Mezzo (Sophia) arrived way earlier than expected so it modified construction plans lol!!! But she came out spectacular. The add-ons and other items purchased were phenomenal. Excellent quality, delivery was super-fast and the price of everything was more than affordable. Thanks a lot, Patio and Pizza, Round Grove and Morgan! The perfect trifecta! Also, the pizza oven has a mind of its own! You can go as high as 1k degrees, but 798 degrees F does the job superbly and the pizzas will come out toasty-delicious in 2 mins!!! Yep 2 mins!!!! Now, be careful with the heath blast lol. Once that door is opened back off a bit lol or you'll feel the heat blast in your face but what an amazing cooking feeling hahaha. The ceramic bricks are phenomenal, and they can retain heat once you reach optimal baking heat. Use cooking wood, like Hickory or Apple wood. Wow... amazing flavors and aromas. And of course, practice, practice, practice. You can cook almost anything in the oven. Get all the accessories and you'll have more fun! Read the installation manual and cooking book for ideas and proper care and maintenance of this toy. The firebox is a blast too. Plenty of space to keep an entire family happy, warm and having fun. Top heat achieved so far, 985 degrees F and that was nice, nice, nice!!! Overall, many memories, family and friends enjoying my baby. And plenty of wine too lol! Overall, super satisfied with Morgan, Patio and Pizza and Round Grove. Thanks a million team!

On Time and as promised.

Already loved my Alfa Brio pizza oven and this hybrid kit made me love it even more. Now, I can easily switch between using propane and using wood when firing up the oven. The customer service at Patio & Pizza was great as well. They sent emails after the order letting me know what to expect and sent tracking when my kit shipped. Very happy! 😃

Delivered as promised, and in perfect condition. We’ve used it twice for pizza, and once for cedar plank salmon.
We had a minor issue with the chimney extension, which was immediately replaced.

Oven was delivered as ordered, no problems. I have had a mostly metal pizza oven with a slim pizza stone, it was hard to keep a consistent temperature. This oven has thick fire brick, which stays at a constant 600-700 degrees for hours with minimal wood addition. First pizza was beautiful, and so far every one after that. Baked an apple crisp in the ceramic dish the oven came with, it was delicious! Love my Maximus Arena, and so do my friends! Thank you, Patio and Pizza!

I absolutely love the oven I ordered. I had several small chips in my pizza stones, and I sent an email/tct to Patio/Pizza and they took care of it ASAP. They shipped me a new stone and I was very very happy with their level of customer service and communication. I converted to NG, however the directions in the manual were not "great." Again, I reached out to Patio/Pizza and they sent me the instructions. Secondary to the minor issues I had, they promised to send me the cover for the Brio because of the inconvenience. I have cooked steaks, pizza, grilled vegetables, and I cannot be more happy about the Brio and quality of the oven. My family, and all of my teenage boys friends "rave" about the food and aesthetics of the oven itself. My brother lives around the block from me and he plans on getting one as well, as soon as his backyard kitchen is completed. Thank you Alfa, and most importantly thank you Patio & Pizza for your excellent level of customer service!!! I recommend your company without any reservation whatsoever!!

We love our new Buena Ventura Brick Wood Fired Pizza Oven! The Patio & Pizza order, shipping and delivery process was seamless. From the time the order was placed it took about 10 days for the oven to make its way to Arizona, which gave us time to finalize the crane that set it in place. Our pizzas have been awesome, steaks are phenomenal and the fresh-made breads are so good!

Necessories Colonial Fireplace & woodboxes: I'm not handy but have a family friend who is overly skilled professional in carpentry, welding, concrete work, etc. Thankfully he was able to help with this project. The time lapse videos on assembly are deceiving.

Ordering – P&P are fantastic with their customer service & priced competitively. The original order was for the colonial fireplace and instead of the usual fireplace fireboxes that are compatible with it, we wanted the matching woodbox cabinet kit which supports more weight on top (it's free standing - standard fireboxes need the fireplace to support the lid of the firebox – see pic). They incorrectly sent the fireboxes. That would be fine if we hadn't already assembled the fireplace first (as instructed). You have to assemble a specific brick on each side of the fireplace to face out (see pic) if you're using the matching fireboxes. Wasted days finding a solution; used a hammer drill into the brick and placed a metal "pin" into the brick to support the top.

Prep – We didn't have room for it on our patio so we decided to pour a concrete pad ahead of delivery. Using our construction friend's help, we assumed a 4" deep pad and we gave it about 2" extra in perimeter to be safe but directions state 4” (see pic) so heads up.

Delivery - brutal. Scheduling was fine but driver (only one person) calls me about 20 min away - "is there anyone who's going to be able to help me unload this”? I guess that’s now me. Who sends one guy to unload 8K lbs of stone? He has a small moving truck with a liftgate. When he went to move the first pallet, the lift gate was smaller than the pallet. Now he's shoving the pallet jack (with stone on pallet) while I'm asked to steady the steering from the ground with 2K lbs of stone, 6' over my head, on to the liftgate till the end of the pallet jack slides off (my) edge (hanging off liftgate in the air); hoping he has enough clearance to lower the gate to the ground. It wasn’t, and it caused the pallet to bounce and drop onto the liftgate on the way down (about 2' drop each time). Several stones had chunks/imperfections and unless you plan on unwrapping and inspecting each stone while he waits (which is impossible) you have to sign and accept and see what damage has occurred later.

Unpacking - You have to scrub the dust off each stone before adding your adhesive to build it - I bought a wire brush that attached to my reciprocating saw to help speed this up. The color variation was minimal vs the way it looks in the pic (beachwood color); If you want pristine, colorful pavers, I wouldn't go with this.

Process - started with the fireplace per the instructions. Be sure to constantly check to see if you're level. They provide plastic shims which are fine for parts farther away from the fire. Once we reached the opening of the fireplace (where the fire sits), it wasn't level at all in the front/right above the opening - where the decorative gray middle "top" goes. I didn't realize the smooth/polished side of the hearth, middle "top" and tops of the fireboxes are supposed to be facing smooth end up. We put the rough side up as it seemed to match better. There is a large, heavy metal angle that comes in the shipment as it supports the top of the opening of the fireplace (where fire sits, across the opening); not rust resistant so time will tell if stains will drip on the stone and it's longevity. It’s unlevel again right above the fireplace opening and where the gray middle top sits. Plastic shims may melt so off to a box store (rhymes with moes) and buy a couple of flat steel pieces. Our friend has a special electric saw/blade that cuts metal. We made homemade metal shims to level out the middle part. The bricks are not perfectly smooth so you're going to have issues with leveling. We then completed the special firebrick interior - tricky part because you have about a 1" space that remains per instructions, in the back between the outside wall of the fireplace and the firebrick. We eventually finished and moved on to the fireboxes. The firebox tops sit against the fireplace wall (see pic). The tops are really heavy as it's one piece. It was a struggle for 2 people and definitely better with 3 people. There are natural gaps along the side of the top where it meets the fireplace wall; we are caulking it with outdoor caulk for brick to help prevent leakage on to wood.

Used it the other night with no issues but this was exhausting. If you are doing this for the first time as a novice consumer, you learn (the hard way) from it. You may not find anything cheaper for a decent paver fireplace. P&P are great to work with so this product is of no reflection of their customer service but just know it wasn't done in 2 hours like the time lapse implies (hilarious).

If you go with gas log (we didn't) per necessaries, you drill into the back of the brick once assembled for the gas line.

For very long time I wanted an oven like this. I had thought of building one my self but the time and cost to do it my self was to much. After surfing the web for information and locked at what people are doing I came across Patio & Pizza website. They way the oven was made I was sold. I placed my order with them and 10 weeks later it arrived.

I have done the initial seasoning of the oven and we made our first pizzas. AMAZING!

The only reason for not giving 5 stars was for the delivery experience. I know the company doesn’t have anything to do with that, but that’s the part of the experience.

The oven itself is a piece of art. Being able to incorporate this into our cooking is like learning to walk. Going anywhere is possible. The staff are probably the best customer service team I have dealt with. Quick and informative responses to all my requests. You cannot ask for more. All I can say is just keep it up and you will be the best pizza oven go to place…period!
